An inclusive vision
When Sasha launched SpecialKids.Company, she had a clear vision: to bring happiness to children with special needs and their families. One of the ways Sasha sought to achieve this was by helping children feel included in the mainstream environment and integrated in school by offering a range of quality clothing that was both age appropriate and functional.
Talking about what drives her, Sasha says: “Growing up, I was inquisitive and believed in challenging the norms. I’ve always fought traditions that didn’t make room for empowering people, and having spent several years living in the Middle East, I saw first-hand how children with special needs were hidden from society’s view.”

The vision Sasha had has been well received, and Special Kids Company has flourished. But as her business has gone from strength to strength, the demands on Sasha’s time have increased.
Too many tasks, not enough time
“As the business has grown, the spreadsheet we used to track our cashflow and forecast for the months ahead was becoming unwieldy,” Sasha explains, “It was taking me hours every month to update the figures and my accountant wasn’t able to help.”
Understandably frustrated, Sasha began looking for a way to automate some of the manual tasks and ultimately give her some much-needed time back!
Managing business effectively
